Magistry
A downloadable game for Windows
The project is inspired by the best games of automation genre. You will have to extract and manage resources, optimize production and logistics. A distinctive feature of Magistry is the central crystal that limits the available area for building. You will also have to keep an eye on the distribution of mana across buildings in order to achieve maximum production efficiency. And all of this is on hexagons!
But be careful, with the sunset, hordes of all kinds of golems will start coming at you from the portals. They want to break your factories and destroy the crystal! Can you set up a production line and survive until dawn?

I like the premise and the visual style, but thoughtful games with time pressure elements drive me a bit mad when there is no active pause system. I understand that not allowing the player to interact with the game while paused is a design consideration rather than a bug or an oversight, but I, for one, cannot seem to enjoy games like this without active pause.
Greetings, thank you for your feedback!
Here is the response from our game designers: lack of active pause mechanic (i.e. pausing time and still being able to look around and perform actions) is an intentional game design as we want in-game night time to feel intense and dynamic, so being able to manipulate the factory without time restrictions will negate this feeling. But in the future we will consider possibility for the player to slow down the flow of time for better gameplay diversity.
Best regards, In Progress Studio.
